Men’s Ministry

Hilltop men own their discipleship journey through fellowship and Bible study reaching out in love to disciple men and serve others for the glory of God in Christ.  The Five Challenges of Christ guide the discipleship process, teaching, fellowship, service, and community engagement.

A brotherhood pressing forward to know Christ, make Him known, and see His church grow.

Monday Night Men’s group is the best place to check out men’s group for the first time.  This time embodies the goal of the ministry.  Dinner is served at 6pm, a Bible study takes place at 630pm, and small group discussions at 7pm with the night wrapping up around 8pm.  Men who teach are trained on how to study the Bible, how to prepare a message, and how to present that message.  Other men jump in and organize meals, do announcements, recruit volunteers for service projects, or help with set up & clean up.   Every man is given the opportunity develop the spiritual gifting they possess and employ it for the spiritual and numerical growth of the church.

As men, we strive to be growing in the Word, discovering, and using our gifts through events, Bible studies, service projects, hospitality & fellowship, and training in a community for men to be men while expressing vulnerability. Events are scheduled weekly, monthly, bimonthly, and annually as shown in the example here.
