Our vision for Hilltop’s Children’s Ministry is to create a fun and engaging environment for kids to meet, trust, and learn to follow Jesus. We offer teaching anchored in God’s Word and lesson planning that is fully connected to what the parents are learning from the pulpit. We hope that this can build great conversations with our families in their homes as they live out the message each week. We also understand the importance that active play has on kids and their engagement, so we encourage hands-on activities and games with each lesson.
Hilltop Kids serves children from six months to 5th grade. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who love Jesus and sharing His Word with kids in our church and community. Our ministry starts in our nursery (6 months to 2 years), which provides a safe space for our infants and toddlers to play. We have age-based lessons for kids from three years to 5th
grade that help them engage with the Bible and each other, as they grow, learn, and play together. We also provide fellowship times throughout the year with mid-week programs, parent nights out, and family camps or meetup.
Want to join in on the fun? We meet during both Sunday services as well as mid-week with our Engage program (to learn more visit our Engage page). Check-in for all starts 15 minutes before services, giving parents some time to get coffee. All our classes are down the same hall, and we are happy to show you where they go. In their classes, they will meet with friends and have their lesson. After the service, pick up is usually in the same classroom or out on our playground if the weather is good.
