Philippians 3:12-15

But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, ¹⁴I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.

My wife of 20 years, Amanda, along with our 18-year-old son, and 14-year-old daughter moved to Carson City in 2020 making Hilltop Church our home. After 25 years as a structure firefighter my family says instead of saving lives, I am saving souls. I feel closest to God when biking and skiing in our beautiful Sierra mountains. My passion is to come along side men and teens, pursuing Jesus, moving from the sidelines to being all in for the Kingdom of God.

Allyson and her husband Peter moved to Nevada in 2017 in search of new inspiration, a desire to live near outdoor trails and start a family. Allyson soon found deeper identity in Christ in studying the book of Romans while volunteering at Hilltop as well as a deep love for connecting and helping people in Christ and hasn't looked back since. She started in Accounts Payable at Hilltop in early 2018, and transitioned into her current Administrative role in October 2022.

I have lived in Northern Nevada my whole life. My wife Heather and our kids Emerson, Forest, and Alice love the outdoors. I have a heart for equipping the Next Generation to stand firm in their faith through spiritual growth. Through guanine relationship, I want them to understand the hope of truth that is found through Jesus Christ.

I married into a family deeply rooted in Hilltop Community Church for over 30 years, and I made it my home in 2018. Supporting the church staff through my administrative skills has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to use my talents to serve others. This experience has inspired me to deepen my faith, making my journey at Hilltop one of both service and spiritual transformation.

My wife Claire and I grew up here in the Carson valley and have attended Hilltop since we were both kids. We have been married for 4 years and both enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and playing music together. We want to continue to grow in our walk with Christ and help others to grow in relationship with God. We desire to see everyone experience the incredible life that God has in store for them.

I have been married to my wife Becky since 2004. We have 6 kids and stay busy. My desire for Hilltop is that we fulfill the entire ministry of the church given by our Lord Jesus.

I love music and the effect it can have on people's lives. I enjoy many types of worship music; from hymns, rock-n-roll praise, to contemplative worship. It is important to me that the music we play at Hilltop Church is theologically rich, and musically engaging. Most of all, I want to help people experience God through the music and services at Hilltop Church.

My wife and I are locals that grew up in Reno. We have four kids that we are raising up with a Biblical Worldview. As a deacon, my focus is to provide financial support to all the ministries at Hilltop through prayer and biblical responsibility, while also meeting the needs of the less fortunate such as widows, orphans, etc.

My wife, Ava and I have been married 39 years, have two grown sons and two beautiful granddaughters; we enjoy kayaking, hiking, camping and exploring this beautiful world that God has created. With God’s help, we have built a successful business. Our focus is to know God better and become more Christlike, using our spiritual gifts and talents to help others and further the kingdom of God.

My husband, two children, and I moved from Waco Texas to Minden in 2023. My family and I love being active outdoors enjoying God’s beauty. I was a middle school math teacher and coach for 7 years, I still get to coach track locally and I participate in an adult tap class. For women’s ministry, my goal is to create a Christ-center community where women grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and empower one another to live out their faith. I feel called to reach our community, inviting women from all walks of life to experience the love of Christ, find support, healing, and transformation through authentic connection and biblical teaching.

I got married to my wife, Amanda, in 2008 with a daughter, Mya, born 2010; we love Jesus and enjoy being involved with FCA on the school campuses where we teach. Jesus entered my heart when I was 25 years old; for seven years I still walked in the way of the world. It wasn't until a brother in Christ came along side and discipled me. Ever since, God has given me a heart for discipling men who have recently come to know Jesus as Lord.
